The Course consists of 12 lessons which are grouped into 4 modules. Each Module revolves around a main leadership challenge in complex and fast changing environments.

The course is thought in combination of lectures, inspiring media, exercises and group discussions to allow for maximum effectiveness.

 
 
  • skill-gaining and mindset shift in the future of work, adaptive vs. technical challenges, sensemaking in complexity, matching actions to the context at hand, applications of leadership and management

  • Principles for new ways of working, behaviours that multiply or diminish team's effectiveness, balance between doing and developing others, reflecting on participants own practices, finding your “native genius”

  • Theories and models of organizations, between bureaucracy and humanocracy, rethinking our best practices, distributing leadership across the org

How does it work?

 
  • Live and remote course with a small group (4-10 participants)

  • Total of 6 sessions:
    4 x 3-hour bi-weekly learning sessions
    + 2 x 1.5-hour open discussion and support sessions

  • Dedicated asynchronous communication channel and access to The Middle's Slack community

  • Certification of completion to show off your new skills

The Redesigning Leadership program is taught by Or Perlman, an experienced leader with over 10 years of work in the tech and internet industry.

Or has been leading teams in a variety of areas, such as growth & marketing, product management, and business development.

The course content is based on emerging theories and hands-on experience applying these principles at start-ups/scale-ups in recent years.

  • Yes. The Redesigning Leadership program is a cohort-based course, meaning that all sessions are live and with the same participants until the group completes the material.

  • Sessions take on average ~2.5 hours weekly and are scheduled for the afternoon/evening hours. We advise spending additional time reflecting on applying your newly acquired knowledge during the week in between sessions.

  • We don't believe in copy-paste solutions. The program introduces participants to various frameworks and principles but doesn't prescribe templates of any kind. One of the flagship concepts of the program is allowing participants to identify their own unique contexts and use an appropriate strategy for each situation.
